And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.
LUKE 2:19
As women, our greatest example of womanhood is found in Mary. Several times during the infancy narratives of Christ, we hear that Mary was attentive to what was happening with her Son. Scripture says she kept and pondered these events and truths in her heart. Bible study is a time when we can spend time with Christ in His word, cherish it, and reflect upon it in our hearts.
Christ asks that we remain in Him, and that His words remain in us. (John 15:7) In order for His words to remain in us, we have to just just read them, but study, learn, ponder, and even memorize them. The women's bible study is an opportunity to spend time pondering and reflecting the Word.
WEDNESDAY
Join with other women in this bible study time. Begin your Wedneday with fellowship with other women, and encouragement through the word of God. Remember to bring your bible, a notebook, and a pen and a heart open and ready to receive God's word. We know its early, but its worth it.
6:00 AM
Christ is the Word of God. Part of having a relationship with Him is to know Him in his word. One way to know Him in the Word is to learn to use our bible better each day.
You can deepen the practice of using your bible by looking up these scriptures yourself daily in your own bible. Maybe consider writing out a portion to reflect upon it more deeply.
