This is a great mystery, but I speak in reference to Christ and the church. In any case, each one of you should love his wife as himself, and the wife should respect her husband.

Marriage is a lifelong sacramental commitment. For that reason, it cannot be entered into lightly. To help couples prepare for this lifelong journey of sanctification, the Church requires that couples undergo preparation before their wedding.
